I've been kinda busy but this was a little overdue. Anyway I had some issues workin with full black shadows. It's part of why I picked this one. Oh and to anyone who hasn't seen the Shippuden episode showing him getting over his loss, you gotta see it. The colors in that are AMAZING, movie quality.

NICE, MAN! I LOVE the textures! anyway you can send me a high res version of this? and also, i would shrink the image size when you edit the submission. i do want to see all the detail, but i'm afraid the full size is a little too big for me to soak in the whole pic. and the small view is, consequently, too small for me to see all the detail, lol. perhaps a more medium resolution so we can see the detail and enjoy the pic in its entirety at the same time? awesome colors all the same! :D

oh, and, to compensate for the solid black shadow issue, maybe you could have more of an extreme light source in the front of him? it would maybe may the shadows seem a bit more dramatic. thus, you would have to add a more light on shikamaru from the front as well. i think that would make for a better contrast of lighting, since you've got a lot of subdued middle tones going on here. oh, yea, and are you gonna do any effects with the lighted cigarette? i may be nitpicking, but you kno how i am when i see potential in a piece of art! :D

Wow!

That is incredible man, I like both color and non-color drawings. A part of me actually likes the black and white one a bit more, reminds me a little of some noir American comics.
